Happy Humpday!

Newman's Own Organics Giveaway Winner announced at the end of this post!

How are you today? So far, so good for me! I have a confession. I have been finding it difficult to do my evening posts - especially if The Lover is working late. I'm trying my best though!

Last night, there was plenty of tantrum action going on. There must have been something in the air because both my dudes were very cranky. I was so happy when The Lover came home. I practically threw the boys at him. :0) But it's kind of funny because Baba is so cool so they start running around and having fun with The Lover.

This morning has been great. The sun is shining, the temps should be in the lower 50s and The Lover took the boys to school today. He's also taking Baby Boy to have post-tubes check up.

For breakfast, I wanted to try something new. I picked up an individual serving of Kashi's H2H honey toasted cereal. I added 1/2 cup non-fat yogurt and a diced apple.

I received cashews with pomegranate and vanilla from Sahale Snacks to review.  This is the pic from their site.

To add a little something extra to my brekkie, I topped my cereal with a tablespoon of the cashews. They were delish! For one serving (1/4 cup), it's 140 calories. A little high but it's very tasty. I could have eaten way more but it's best to pace myself because they were so good.

My cereal was a nice change from oatmeal and Green Monsters! I have an 8 miler on the schedule today and I plan on trying a new route. I know I won't be able to hack 8 miles on the dreadmill!

WINNER!

The winner of the Newman's Own Organics Giveaway is . . .

We eat a lot of organic foods, but I haven't tried Newman's yet.

My 'me time'is usually while I take a long run. On Sunday mornings, I get up early and hi the road for a 13-14 mile run.It gives me time think about life and is an awesome stress reliever.

Congratulations, Kerry! Send me an e-mail at runrettarun@yahoo.com with your contact info and your goodies will be on their way!

  1. Mmm, I love Heart to Heart. It's slightly sweet but has such a great crunch to it. Nice breakfast. Good luck on your 8 miler!
