It's Friday! WHOOP!

My first giveaway news at the end of this post!

Good morning! Hope it's going well for you. I'm so happy it's Friday. What a week. I let myself sleep in for a bit. I really, really wanted to sleep some more but basically had to use a spatula to scoop myself out of bed. I was a tired chick!

Coffee wasn't sitting well on my tummy today. Oatmeal sounded good but I decided to go for a Green Monster instead. So easy and takes very little time! To add a little pizzazz, I used Amazing Grass' chocolate flavored Green SuperFood. Check out the list of ingredients here.

To be honest, the first taste was not good. The second taste, a tiny bit better. And as I kept drinking it, it's a lot better and I prefer it over the Wheat Grass. My GM contained:

  • 1 packet of chocolate flavored Green SuperFood
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cup almond milk
  • lots of ice
DEEEEEELISH.

On the agenda today: reschedule Baby Boy's ENT appointment, schedule Big Boy's 4 year check up (I'm late!), work, work, and more work. I also plan on getting a 4 or 5 mile run in.

Newman's Own Organics Giveaway news!
I've been meaning to do a giveaway and haven't gotten a chance but I am ready to rock!

The NOO goodies look yummy, don't they? To be entered into the giveaway, please leave a comment answering this question:

How do you make "me" time for yourself?

I will draw a random winner and announce on morning Wednesday, February 17th! Good luck!

  1. Newman's Own products are the best! I love that it's organic AND profits go to charity.

How do I make "me" time? A cup of tea and a book. No matter where I am or what's going on around me, that immediately calms things down.

  3. We eat a lot of organic foods, but I haven't tried Newman's yet.

My 'me time'is usually while I take a long run. On Sunday mornings, I get up early and hi the road for a 13-14 mile run.It gives me time think about life and is an awesome stress reliever.

  4. As sad as it may be, my me time is usually on daycare days - when I am supposed to do homework sometimes I do my school stuff before a scheduled daycare day so that I can have time for myself

  5. I beg and plead for someone to watch my kids! or...I sneak into the bathroom and lock the door and take the longest shower/bath possible.

  6. Now that my son is almost seven, I can get away with a lot more ME time. Sometimes I tell him that I'm taking a "time out" in my room and I'll go in and read. I've had to tell my husband this sometimes too so he'll know where I am and won't think I've just disappeared! :) We love Newman's O's, especially the double chocolate. Mmmm!
